Visit to Africa
A party of 12 people visited mission partners in Sudan, Uganda & Kenya in May 2004.
They joined Trisha Wick in the Sudan whenre they visited the nursery school which they raised over £8,000 to build and equip in Maridi, Southern Sudan. The Maridi Bishop, Bishop Justin came to England in July when he preached at Christ Church.
They then went to Uganda to visit Pat’s team where they visited a Government Health clinic for children with deformed feet, an Occupational Therapist and KIzisi Hospital
Finally they joined Colin Jackson in Kenya to help support his work involved with the environment and helping people understand and use their natural habitat but most importantly the importance of education for children.
