Fulltime volunteer with YWAM

Anna-Lise trains missionaries and currently writes / compiles helpful workbooks for YWAMers on all sorts of topics. She created workbooks for the pioneer, the school leader, the student and staff members. Anna-Lise enjoys debriefing and preparing teams for outreach and is passionate about seeing unreached people become a priority.

Her favourite hobby is photography. She doesn’t get too much time for it but loves the feeling of capturing something beautiful.

Serving with A Rocha Kenya (ARK)

Colin was born and brought up in Kenya. His parents were AIM missionaries based in Nairobi. Roni was born in Durban, South Africa, and worked in community conservation in Kwa-Zulu Tatal and Namibia before moving to Kenya when they were married.

Serving with A Rocha Kenya (ARK) which is part of a Rocha, an international conservation organisation working to demonstrate God’s love for His world by facilitating a deeper understanding of creation through scientific research, environmental education and sustainable community-based conservation programmes.

Colin and Roni are based at the ARK Field Study Centre “Mwamba” (Swahili for “A Rocha””/”The Rock”) on the north Kenya coast in Watamu near Malindi. At Mwamba they welcome people from all walks of life, many of them nature enthusiasts, some researchers and a good number of volunteers all sharing a common interest in the natural environment. The programmes and community life of the centre provide opportunities in very practical ways to live out the Gospel in full, showing God’s love not only for people, but also for the whole creation.

Ordained Minister at St. Peter's Everton

Henry has spent the whole of his ordained ministry at St. Peter’s Everton where he is Rector and Area Dean. St. Peter’s and Christ Church Southport are Diocese link partners. Henry and his wife Jane and their three children are totally committed to the community life of Everton. St. Peter’s embraces the Shrewsbury House Community Centre which provides many activities for all ages in the area. Jane now serves as a Local Councillor on Liverpool City Council.

Lynn Treneary, through CMS, works with the Episcopal Church of South Sudan in Maridi teaching English at the Chaima Institute, alongside the Mothers Union and widows and orphans.
